Mary Betts obituary appeared in the Herald today, sourced from the Telegraph, London.

There were stories in past Newsletters about codebreakers in the WWII and Mary was one of the WRENs, (in the UK) who performed the work.

I did indeed find that an interesting editorial. Reminiscent of my early days in the SOR when the technology & hardware of the day then, whilst not devoted to code breaking, brought back memories of that which Mary Betts was using during WWII.
